My name is Anderson Castro, and I’ve been living in Queenstown, New Zealand for the past 7 years.
Travel has always been in my heart.
I’ve backpacked across continents, chasing new landscapes, new cultures, and unforgettable moments.
Over the years, I found my own way to keep those memories alive.
I have 55 tattoos on my left leg, each one representing a chapter of my journey and the places that shaped me.
I’ve always loved the idea of “stamping my soul” everywhere I go.
That’s why I created the New Zealand Travel Passport.
It’s a physical traveller’s book designed to help people collect the best parts of their trip through New Zealand, one stamp at a time. And for those who can’t visit every location, we also created sticker stamps, so the journey can continue even after you return home.
This is more than a souvenir.
It’s a way to turn your travel memories into something real.

HOW IT STARTED
FROM AN IDEA TO THE FIRST PASSPORT
NZ Travel Passport didn't start in an office or with a big team.
It started as a small personal project here in Queenstown.
After years of travelling and collecting memories in my own way, I wanted to create something that could give other travelers that same feeling. Something physical they could hold onto long after the trip was over.
The first passports were simple. The first stamps were just an idea. And everything started one step at a time.
OUR FIRST TRAVELLERS
Before NZ Travel Passport appeared in visitor centres and stores, it started on a market table.
We took the passports to local markets around Queenstown and Arrowtown, talked to travellers face to face, listened to their ideas and watched people discover the concept for the first time.
Every passport sold meant something.
Those early conversations helped shape what NZ Travel Passport is becoming today.

WE'RE STILL JUST GETTING STARTED
NZ Travel Passport is still a very small New Zealand business.
There's no big team behind it. Most days you'll still find me packing orders, designing new ideas, delivering displays, talking to visitor centres and figuring things out as we go.
And that's something I'm proud of.
Every new stamp location, every shop that gives us a chance, and every traveller who takes a Passport on their journey helps this little idea grow.

New Zealand Travel Passport is a New Zealand travel brand created to help travellers explore Aotearoa and turn their journeys into lasting memories.
Our physical travel passport combines official destination stamps, collectible stickers and space for personal memories, while our website provides free travel guides, interactive maps and information on where to collect stamps throughout New Zealand.
NZ Travel Passport works with visitor information centres, tourism businesses and retailers across New Zealand to build a growing network of official stamp locations.
