Ōtautahi, known as Christchurch, is the largest city in the South Island and a place that has reinvented itself. After the 2011 earthquake, the city rebuilt with creativity, innovation and a strong focus on green spaces.

The name Ōtautahi comes from a Māori chief and reflects the area’s deep cultural roots. Today, Christchurch blends English heritage, modern design and access to nature, making it a unique gateway to the South Island.
